Well - I’m actually just trying to get it to start - and it can’t seem to find anything. I was on with Apple support earlier - they were thinking the machine is toast -but it has gone further this time and I remain hopeful as it was showing Catalina not Mountain Lion :) but not sure where to go from here
Well, based on what I see you are trying to repair a disk image. The is no functioning disk drive in the computer. That means the drive is toast.
Seems so. Was saying on YouTube it could be a cable - anyway - likely toast - but will try apple one more time in the morning.
thanks for your help.
