Family sharing
I would like to know how I can get out of my family sharing and join another family . On my phone it doesn’t give me the option to select “stop family sharing”

Is your account set to an age under 13 by chance?
If its correctly set to an age over 13 see here: Leave Family Sharing - Apple Support
Otherwise, the family organizer needs to move the account to another family group. Account sunder 13 cannot simply Leave a Family Group on their own.
