Apple Watch not synching correctly with iPhone

My Apple iwatch is showing kilometers on my workout app. The health data is set to miles so I do not know why it just changed to kilometers yesterday. All have suggested that the unit setting needs to be in miles which it is. Is there another way to fix this? Any help is appreciated.

Go into the health app and tap on browse then activity then walking and running distance scroll down to the bottom and you will see an entry for unit,tap this and you can change from km to miles.

Or;

In the workout app on the watch

Tap the three dots in the top right hand corner of one of the widgets such as Outdoor Walk or Outdoor Run.

Tap Distance.

Use Force Touch to open the menu.

Make your selection from miles or kilometers.
