Restore screen won't go away.

My phone displays the restore screen, and has for the past 24 hours. I have spoken with apple support and they told me to update my iPhone, and if this doesn't work to try and restore it back to the original format. This did not work, and it still shows the restore screen. What can I do to get my phone working again?
