Notifications not coming as expecting

Hi,

I'm using an iPhone 11 with OS version of 13.6 . I'm facing an issue since last two days, I'm not receiving any notifications (notifications from WhatsApp, gmail, Skype, yahoo etc..) when I'm connected to my home wifi. Whenever I open an application, all notifications coming together. But when I connected to cellular data, no problems at all.

Is this issue of phone or wifi? Please advise me.

Regards

Vijo

Hello VijoySasidharan,

We understand you're not receiving push notifications for your apps when connected to Wi-Fi since updating your phone. We're happy to help with this!

Let's first have you check for and install any app updates that you may have:

Update apps or use automatic downloads

Check the notification settings for each app you are having issues with:

Use notifications on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Ensure that Do Not Disturb is turned off:

Use Do Not Disturb on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Confirm that the date and time are set correctly on your device:

Set the date and time on iPhone

If you are using a VPN connection, turn it off and test.

Let us know if that worked for you.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

Take care.

Hi,

I'm still confusing. My iPhone 11 push notifications working fine on other wifi and celluar data. I've contacted my local ISP and they told me everything good from their end (usually all ISP will say like this) and they cannot do anything further. The problem is my brother came to my home two days before and he is using iPhone Xs with iOS 13.6 (Same OS version as mine) and he is getting all notifications. I don't know what happening and cant identify whether problem is on my phone or on my wifi.

Thanks

Vijo
