No playlists showing...

Greetings,

I just got an Apple TV 4K box. When I go into Music>Library>Playlists

nothing shows from my extensive library.

When I click on Albums, they show.

Recently added category displays.

How to get playlists?

Apple TV3 - Songs & Playlists won't show Apple Downloaded Music. I have created playlists on my Mac and synced everything. Finally, I got the music to show on Apple TV (computer app/home sharing). However, it will only show playlist songs that I already have, it will not show anything that I have downloaded from Apple Music. I am a subscriber to Apple Music. It looks like nothing that comes down from Apple Music will show in any playlists or in the main Song Library. Can anyone help please? All Software is up to date.

Playlist missing on AppleTV Have the 90 day trial Music subscription and everything seems to be working on my Mac mini, MBP, Homepods and iPhone. My existing playlists are available and work fine. However on Apple TV when I go to the Music app - Playlist, none of my existing playlist appear, just a prompt to start building new playlist with the browse function. Logged in/out of iTunes and Apple ID plus restart, not change. If I go to "My Computer' - Music I can access the existing playlist on my my Mac. Any idea how to get them to appear?

The Music app on Apple TV (4th generation or later) is for use with an Apple Music subscription (and/or iTunes Match) and for use with iTunes Store music purchases. That is: streaming from Apple server only.

To use your Home Sharing music library, use the Computers app instead.
