Keynote

When I try to do an audio recording over a slideshow in keynote I am unable to advance to the next slide (either by clicking or with the keyboard) and the "show navigator" button is dark grey and doesn't respond when I click on it. Please help, I'm sure its a simple fix. I've tried restarting everything and still not working.

This happens when a previous recording has been made, if you want to override the previous recording;

go to Play > Clear Recording, then record the slideshow again.
