iPhone ringer sound

My phone will ring at max volume for the first 2 seconds then it will ring really quietly almost at the lowest volume even though all my volume settings are at max volume. I have tried full restart, changing ring tones but all do the same. Any suggestions on how to fix? By the way, the phone is an 11 and is 2 days old!

New iphone13 pro - phone ring volume drops after first ring My phone ring volume drops after first ring (becomes too quiet quickly) the phone is a few days old (i13 pro) so seems to be a settings issue. have set ring vol to max have check not on do not disturb have turned on adjust with volume keys and max is set have tried alternate ring tones what next?

That is normal -- it automatically recognizes that you have heard the ringing -- but can be turned off if you want. See: About Attention Aware features on your iPhone X or iPad Pro - Apple Support
