We made a recording in QuickTime to share with someone and can’t find the file to share it. Does QuickTime have its own directory?

How to find a previous recording in QuickTime.

Hello, gale120. There are a couple of things I'd try. If you remember the name of the file, try searching for it using Spotlight or the Finder. You can open QuickTime and go to File>Open Recent. From the Finder, you can go to ~/Movies.

Good luck
