Airdrop doesn't work on my mac...

My 2010 iMac airdrop doesn't work...

No menu to choose who to be discovered by...

iMac 27″, macOS 10.12

AirDrop on Mac won't show "Allow me to be discovered" I'm trying to use AirDrop on my Mac but the option to "allow me to be discovered" will not show & will not show my devices. Wifi and bluetooth are turned on. AirDrop works with all of my other devices. Any suggestions?

Airdrop not Working older macbook pro 2011 Hi, it is frustrating to see all the responses to this question...they all assume that my macbook actually has the "Allow me to be discovered by" link at the bottom. Not so on my 2011 macbook. Any suggestions? Here is a screenshot

Your Mac needs to be a 2012 or later:
