I have a shared storage plan with my family, however apple still keeps giving me the message of storage space issue. What should I do about it ?

As per this article - Share an iCloud storage plan with your family - Apple Support, at the very bottom, it says the following:

"If you reach or exceed your iCloud storage limit, just buy more storage or make space available."
