Not working with water proof setting Apple Watch series 4

Apple Watch series 4: If the water proof setting was off and the watch shut down... letting it dry for weeks, it does turn on but I cannot turn off the water setting... what do I do?

To disable Water Lock mode, simply turn your Digital Crown in one continuous motion. Your Apple Watch will then start beeping multiple times. This is to allow any water in the speaker grill to escape.


If that doesn't work then follow these steps;

Unpair and erase your Apple Watch
