Conversion to 64-bit
So iPhoto doesn't work on my new Mac with Catalina. What am I supposed to do? Where are all my photos?

So iPhoto doesn't work on my new Mac with Catalina. What am I supposed to do? Where are all my photos?

Your Photos are in your library. Photos replaced iPhoto 5 years ago. You can transition to Photos pretty easily. Launch Photos with the option key held down. From the resulting dialog, choose your iPhoto Library. Photos will create a new library from your iPhoto media. Your iPhoto Library will not be changed.

1. Launch Photos with the Option key held down, click on Other Library, and choose the iPhoto one. If needed, transfer them to the new computer.
2. The same place they were before.
