Anyone else having issues with the fan on a 2020 MacBook Air? My device runs hot and the fan gets really loud and I've only had it 2 weeks.

I'm having the same problem with my 2020 MacBook Air. Mine is about 6 weeks old as I write. My Touch ID also stopped working on my MacBook Air. And my microphone on the MacBook Air is glitchy while using various video conferencing software. People say that my mic cuts in and out. ... I'm not loving my new device. It's disappointing.
Thanks, Mike Sombrio. Resetting the SMC worked for my Touch ID problem. I have yet to see if it works for the fans, but I think it might.
