Can You Still Upgrade Your ITunes Library To 256 Kbps With ITunes Match? 15th June 2020

I have seen details on line on how to upgrade your library to 256 Kbps using Itunes Match

You create a smart Playlist to highlight all songs on Icloud that are under 256 Kbps then delete and Match replaces files with the upgrade.

However when I try on my Windows PC (Win 10) I can a message that I will delete from ICloud aswell ,which I do not want to do. Is there a hidden there is no checkbox that I am missing or has Itunes removed this facility?

Hi,

Select remove download. This will remove your original file from your computer. The tracks will show the download icon - you can now download upgraded matched version. Please make sure that you make a backup of the original versions.
