how can I delete messages across all devices on iMessage ?

Has Apple ever fix this issue? The last post I saw about it was several years ago.

iPhone 6, iOS 12

Make sure that ALL devices are singed on to the same Apple ID. Ensure that Message in iCloud is set to ON. Give it some time for everything to sync (this can take several minutes to hours). Then once you delete a message on one device then it will delete on all devices mentioned above.

The devices are on the same Apple ID and all are signed on to iCloud. I receive the same text messages on each device. When I delete a message on one device it never deletes from the other ones and I have to delete each device which is a pain. what I’m trying to accomplish is to delete a message on one device and have it deleted from each of the devices.

Have you turned on iCloud Messages as Axel suggested? You need to do so on each device.
