How to backup iTunes from an external drive to a different external drive?

Thanks John P. I made a copy of iTunes library, which I suppose is not necessary, and then dragged it to other external backup drive. iTunes works in both places and I have a backup of library. I suppose to update I have to repeat process and then delete old copy.
