Hope everyone is having a good day. My remote stopped working and after troubleshooting/researching the problem I tried to restore the appletv through my macbook by connecting to Itunes. Unfortunately, Itunes is not recognizing the apple tv (3rd gen). Any ideas? Thanks for the help.

Apple TV (3rd generation) requires that both power and USB-B Micro are connected in order for the restore the complete. Is your Apple TV’s power lead plugged in?
