Apple watch 5 Red Ring

My red ring on my Apple watch has not moved since I purchased my watch on May 9th - even on days when i have 15,000 steps and have worked out I am able to get my green and blues rings to close daily

What is a good number to have the red ring set at?

Looking for help to get the Ring closed

Here's how to change your move goal:

  1. Open the Activity app on your Apple Watch.
  2. Go to your rings, then firmly press the screen.
  3. Tap to increase or decrease the number of active calories for your daily Move goal.
  4. When you're done, tap Update.

For some reason(?), you can change the Move goal, but not your Exercise or Stand goals.

The first (and simplest) thing to try if something isn’t working right is to restart your Apple Watch and its paired iPhone. If necessary (device not responding), try a forced restart. Both methods can be found here:

If that doesn't help, the next steps would be to unpair and pair your watch again and restore from the backup. This deletes all temp and corrupted files and re-indexes the file system.
