catalina 10.15.5

I am running a macbook pro 2017 on catalina 10.15.4

For the last 3 days, system preferences is saying there is a software update to 10.15.5.

I click to install it, am asked to restart my macbook and I do. It restarts but the update is NOT installed.

It does not matter whether I have updates set to manual or automatic. Same every time.

Is this happening to anyone else?

Is there another way I can download the update and install?

You can try to download and install the update from apple directly.

Catalina 10.15.5 update

or try the combo update

This was helpful.

After downloading it gave me an error that I have discovered that I do not have enough spare memory.

I will move a bunch of stuff to the cloud and try again.
