My Ipad has been locked for months I need help unlocking it

Unfortunately, if you forgot the pin to your iPad, the only option is to erase the contents of your device. Luckily, if you have iCloud, it is most likely your iPad has backed up recently. If you have an iCloud backup, you will be promted to once you erase the contents of your device.
