Macbook Air 2019 Overheating

I bought a MBA 2019 i5/8/128 a few months back and it has been overheating ever since. I have a friend who has the exact same laptop and I used his for a day with everything that I've been using usually and his CPU temp would not go beyond 60 degrees Celsius(in fact, it was 40-50 most of the time), while mine is at 70+ constantly. Could somebody please help me out.
