Mac Store

My Mac mini is the 2014 model; I received an update 3 months ago the that made changes to the App Store. The App Store no longer has the category features for finding apps. I was wander if that was a glitch in the update? Also, the updates for pages, number, keynotes and iMovie will not update, the message stated "update incompatible". Is there a way to fix these?

cannot update app Hi, I just got a new 16" macbook pro. When I go to the App Store, it says I have three updates. When I try to update, I keep getting the message "cannot update app". I deleted the three apps I couldn't update. Now, I can't download them, and the App Store still says there's three Apps to update. What can I do about it? (P.S.) App Store not showing recent updates in 10.15.4 Ever since I updated my iMac to Catalina 10.15.4, and even before I applied the Supplemental Update patch, I have received no notifications from the App Store, that I have any updates to any of my existing apps. I saw there were updates posted on the MacUpdate site for Keynote, Numbers, and Pages, but these do not register in the App Store, nor do updates for anything else I got from the Store. I have seen that this issue is an old one, but since it has never happened to me before, I wonder if I may have done something that may have disabled the Store's ability to present updates. I would appreciate any help with restoring this ability, if it is missing.

You will need to update to macOS 10.15 Catalina.

What is your Macintosh’s exact model number and what version of the system software is it running?

Choose the Apple Menu  > About This Mac

The model number is A1347 and system software is high Sierra with the latest update.
