"text insertion point" [cursor] on iPad?

is there a way to make the "text insertion point" [cursor] more visible on an iPad? The thin vertical line in text areas (not using a mouse)

iPad Pro, iPadOS 13

thank you for the authoritative answer. I read others ask the same question but answers sidetracked to mouse pointers.
