Text/iMessage alerts For months now, I have been intermittently not receiving text or iMessage notifications from anyone and everyone. It never seems to matter what time of day is it, or who is messaging me, it’s just random as to when and who my phone decides to not alert me about. It’s getting really frustrating!! I’ve tried turning my phone off and on, playing with notification settings, focus settings etc., and have had absolutely no luck. Now it has started doing it to my families iPhones as well. We have got either 11’s and XR’s in our house.

Text Notifications This has been a problem for one person specifically, I don’t really text many people so I’ve only noticed it with one contact in particular. But I will get NO notifications when this person texts me, not even a red bubble on the messages app. I have to actually open up the app and go to their chat in order to see that they have messaged me. Anybody else?

Check if any or all options have been turned on:

Do Not Disturb (in action center or Settings), Hide Alerts (in Messages), blocked contact, or Notifications has been edited with Messages turned off.
