Migration to new MacbookPro

Trying to migrate my files from an older MacbookAir to a new MacbookPro. The migration app connected the computers successfully but after about 2 hrs the file transfer was not finished yet. Wondering what is the expected time this process will normally take.

Really depends on how many files and your WiFi speed. Ive done transfers that have taken more than a few hours but it was a lot of files.
