my app store has somehow deleted off my MacBood Air. The icon is still on the doc but i am not able to open up the app at all. Is there any way to re download this and/or to update my laptop?

Im not sure how but i have 'deleted' the App Store off my MacBook Air and am not able to update my software or iTunes or anything on my laptop. Is there a way to re download the app store? The actual icon is still on my dock but overtime i click it it just 'bounces' and nothing open. When i right click it and press 'open' the same thing happens again.

Please help :)

Hi,

reinstall macOS with Recovery mode which doesn't delete any your data.

However you'd better take backup your data before reinstall macOS with Recovery mode.
