Apple Music
If I cancel my apple music do I lose all my music that I've accumulated over X amount of time for good? Is there any way I can get any of my music back?

You lose all of your Apple Music. It is a subscription service and you only have rights to listen while you have a subscription. If you purchased any music through the iTunes Store you do not lose the rights to that.
