Can I play content from my Apple TV app on my LG Smart tv?

If you have one of the following models then you can have access to the Apple TV app

  • LG OLED (2019)
  • LG NanoCell SM9X series (2019)
  • LG NanoCell SM85 series or above (2019)
  • LG NanoCell SM83 series or below (2019)


If you have one of these models then you would be able to use airplay to stream from the app on your IOS device or Mac

  • LG OLED (2019)
  • LG NanoCell SM9X series (2019)
  • LG NanoCell SM85 series or above (2019)
  • LG NanoCell SM83 series or below (2019)


If your model is not one of those then you would have to use an Apple TV 3rd gen or later, or a compatible Roku or Fire TV (see below)
