Will word for mac 2011 work on new macbook air
Will my old word for mac 2011 work (I know it's not supported!) on the new macbook air?

A new machine will come preloaded with macOS Catalina. Catalina does not support 32 bit applications at all. You can't run Office 2011 on it.
