My Apple Watch won't pair to my iPhone

I just got a new Apple Watch series 3 because my old one shattered and I won't pair to my iPhone XS. It has been sitting at connecting your Apple Watch. this may take a moment for about 6 hours now. I have tried to restart my phone and the Apple Watch several times. My brother was able to pair to the watching using his phone but mine won't work. He also has a iPhone XS. Someone help me
