Mac apps to “cleanup your computer” ?

Are Mac apps to “cleanup your computer” any good? I’ve seen good reviews and ones that warn against using them. Thanks.

Mac OS runs maintenance scripts automatically that take care as any "cleaning" needs that may develop. That started about 20 years ago. Macs also self-defragment.

Adding useless third-party cr@pware is only falling for scams, because the computer world knows Macs have those maintenance routines that take care of any issues.

Macs are like cats--they clean themselves. The only thing you need do is to restart the computer once every 1-2 weeks to freshen things up.
