Verification Code for Apple TV

After entering password, obtain Verification code by going to Password and Security on iPhone Settings. Obtain new Verification Code which should then be entered directly after the password , in the same field, on the TV .

Ridiculously complicated - Apple should just add a separate Verification Code Field after the Password field on the TV.
