macbook air is not charging.

When i plugged my charger into my macbook battery percentage is not increasing or decreasing and also no light is blinking. Is it possible to resolve the problem without new charger?

Macbook Air only works when plugged in. Shows 'charging' lightning bolt, but battery percentage stays at 4%. Dies as soon as it's unplugged. The little light on the charger isn't illuminating.
