I have received a pair of wired headphones yet I don’t have a headphone socket

So I received my new iPhone 7 today, can anyone tell me why I have received a pair of wired headphones in the box yet I don’t actually have a headphone socket to put to them into my phone? Have I missed something?

The headphones in the box should have a lightning connector. They plug into the lightning port on the phone.

Ask the reseller about your purchase. You need a lightning cable adapter.
