apple TV free year with purchase?

Sorry if this is repetitive but have not seen an answer that works. Bought a new MacBook Air in December. Supposed to get a free year of Apple TV. When I go on the only option is 7day free trial and then 4.99 per month. Never got the offer when I first signed into the new device.

MacBook Pro 13", macOS 10.13

Users should redeem the offer on their new device, in the TV app, as described in

Get Apple TV+ free for one year - Apple

If you qualify and did as described, and you still do not get to see the year offer, then contact Apple Support. They can assist in getting you the service, if needed using activation codes.
