Why do I not see Ask to Buy option under my family members account?

Clarification question - has a family member used ask to buy and you aren't receiving the request or you don't see the option to add ask to buy to their account?

Thanks for quick response. My son was able to send me requests to my iPhone, then I would Approve or Deny. I found out today that requests are going to a different device that I don't use. How can I get the requests to come to my iPhone? Also, on my updated iPhone, I do not see the option for Ask to Buy under his account on my Family share settings, but I do see it under this old iPhone.
You are welcome. I'm not sure how to get Ask to Buy to go to a certain/all devices.
On the new phone, have you tried signing out of iCloud, restarting the device, and then signing back in?
