Different payment option for app purchase

My phone is hooked up to family share with my husband for iTunes music and iCloud storage. It’s also connected to his card and now I’m finding every time I want to make a purchase from the App Store it wants to automatically purchase from his card. It also makes me ask his permission before every purchase which is a huge bother when he’s not around to give me the code sent to his phone

How do I continue to have family sharing for those two subscriptions but have a different form of payment for my own purchases?

Hi Rrford, As I guess you have noticed, family Sharing is designed so that all purchases are paid by the Organizer. There is not an option to set it up differently. However, if it is not meeting your needs, you can remove yourself from the group per this procedure: http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201081

The "Ask To Buy" (permission per purchase) is a separate issue. That is an option that the Organizer can turn off if they wish. See procedure here: https://support.apple.com/lt-lt/guide/mac-help/mh4fbc04939b/mac
