unauthorized app purchase receipts

Hi!! I recently received an email confirming the unauthorized purchase of a dating app with my username. I do not see this charge on my bank account or on my listed purchases on my devices. Has this happened to anyone else? Or did i just get hacked?

It is frequent and not an indication of being hacked -- just phishing. If the only indication of the charges is from an email or text, be aware that it may be a phishing attempt to get you to log in to a site that appears to be Apple and divulge your password or credit card information. You were being scammed.

Did you provide any potentially damaging information to anyone? If yes, you'll need to follow up, for example, with a credit card company, Apple, your bank, etc.
