Dashboard disappeared. I looked for it on the Applications folder on Finder but couldn't find it

My dashboard disappeared, i swipe left and it's not there, I looked for it on the applications folder on finder but couldn't find and i rebooted many times. what do i do?

Lost Dashboard I have lost my Dashboard. I have gone into Preferences, clicked on Mission Control, but there is no drop-down for Dashboard in there. How can I get it back Thanks
