Launching quicktime always opens a new "Open File" window.

I'm only using Quicktime to make screen recordings and then I edit them in iMovie. Can I stop Quicktime from opening a "Open File" window when I launch it? If not, any alternative solutions? I have ZERO INTEREST in ever opening a file with Quicktime.

If you’re on current MacOS version, use Command+Shift+5 to launch screen recording.

This launches the new Screenshot app in Applications > Utilities folder.
