So I’m in the military and I go on deployment every year. A lot of times I go so long with out my phone connecting to internet that my music shuts off. Was wondering if there is a way to keep from loosing my music in between connecting to the internet.

However, I was certain the phone would play web based music better than the Blackberry as the Apple is almost 3 years newer based on release dates. Sadly this is not the case. Playing music from websites is almost impossible. And for using apps such as TuneIn is not much better. The phone continually seems to be buffering, pausing, and ultimately just stopping. All apps and web played on the Blackberry. Also, have turned the iPhone on and off numerous times. Latest OS, have deleted all website data, caches, deleted and reinstalled apps such as Tunein. As an aside, webpages load slower on the ipHone than on the Blackberry. Memory is 3/4 empty as I typically do not use apps. It is the same mobile contract. Oddly enough the music, etc. plays fine on the laptop when the phone is acting as a router/link . . . . Am I missing something? At this point, I'm beginning to think this is a conspiracy to effectively force users to one, upgrade every cycle, two, to use Apple Music exclusively.....

I tunes music I can’t now play my selection of music from my phone when I leave the house.I have WiFi in the house .But I can’t play my music outside of WiFi zones

Apple music says I’m “offline” when the rest of my phone is connected Every other app on my phone is connected to wifi perfectly, except for Apple music. It’s very odd because I’m still able to play any music I have in my library (even if it is not downloaded) without any issue. Everything under “Browse”, “Listen Now”, “Radio” and “Search” is inaccessible. I have tried resetting my network settings, reinstalling the app, etc. I recently got a new phone (the one I am having issues with) and Apple music still works fine on my old device, just not this one.

Hi!

Do you keep the music stored in the iCloud music library, or do you download the songs to your phone?

If you keep the music stored in the iCloud library, you can only listen to the music while connected to the internet.
If you download the music to your phone, there shouldn't be an issue & you should be able to listen with or without internet.
