Apple TV Usage

Hi, I just subscribed to my free year of Apple TV (I bought a brand new macbook pro recently). I have looked at 2 TV shows and they both said "buy for $2.99". Are these covered in the free subscription? Will I be charged extra if I watch these shows? I am confused as to how this works.

Thanks for any explanations!

Yes you will be charged for those

Movies that say rent or buy are from the iTunes Store and not free.

This is not like Netflix etc, where all is included in the one App.

Your subscription is for Apple TV +

Apple TV + is Apple Original content. It’s a channel found within the Apple TV App. The shows included in your subscription will have the tv+ logo on them - those are free.
