Notes across devices; unwanted font change

Using Georgia 18 on a note in the Notes app on a MacBook Pro. It will show up that way on all devices. Edits can be made on other devices, and usually the font will stay the same, but sometimes it will change to what I believe must be the default font. Back on the computer, however, the font changes almost every time I make an edit; seems to happen when the notes are syncing and I hit return for a new line of text. I've searched for a solution to this for years with no success. Any updates?

Welcome to Apple Support Communities, Ron.

I understand that you're encountering unexpected font changes with your synced notes.

I'd suggest that you start with updating the OS on all of your devices:

• Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

• How to update the software on your Mac

Then I would advise that you create a brand new note and add some fresh data to it for testing purposes. If this new note experiences the same behavior, we know that it's not related to the data in the older notes, and vice versa.

Enjoy your day.
