Apple TV + is Apple Original content. It’s a channel found within the Apple TV App. The shows included in your subscription will have the tv+ logo on them - those are free. More content will be added.

Just to add, you have a free subscription to Apple TV+, not Apple TV. Apple TV+ is a subscription service that contains original Apple produced content. The Apple TV app contains movie rentals/purchases, access to third party subscription services, and other content, both free and purchased.
