The Search option will not show up on my iPad Pro 11. Please help!

With the newer iOS, you do not swipe to the right to get to Search. Put your finger on the screen, almost in the center, and swipe downwards.

To invoke the search bar in iPadOS simply place a finger in the very middle/center of the iPad's screen and swipe your finger downward.
