Down Loads folder missing from the Dock
My "Down Load" folder is no longer on my Dock . . . how do I get it back?
Did you try dragging from the Applications folder —a new Downloads folder to the right side of the Dock

Thank you all for your input and responses . . . I had chatted with an Apple Support rep and they had told me to go to Finder and from the menu select GO and then select Home and then drag the Downloads folder to the DOCK . . . it worked.

Go to Finder menu > Go > Downloads and drag the folder to the Dock.
Not in Applications folder, at top level of User folder.
