wireless extenders

What non-apple wireless extenders will work with Airport Extreme. My Express has given out, and Apple no longer supports either one.

AirPort connectivity Hi! Currently I’m saving this setup: main router - 5ghz only output, and range extender - 5ghz input and 2ghz only output (for smart home devices only +iPhone). I consider buying AirPort Time Capsule as the main router, and AirPort Extreme as the extender. The question is if I will be able to use this exact input/output with AirPort setup? Many thanks!

what is a good replacement for an airport express 802.11n My home wifi network has relied on a group of airport express 802.11ns controlled by an airport extreme of the same vintage. All has been well for many years but I have inserted a TP Link Archer A7 extender to reach a remote part of my home. All is well, as the A7 has set up its own address and things operate smoothly from there. My question is, what other small footprint extenders can I replace the express units with - there are three - and do it economically without disrupting the rest of the system? Thoughts, anyone?

Although Apple has discontinued the AirPort routers, new, re-furbished and used AirPort Express devices are available on Ebay.com

Unfortunately, the answer is none. Apple uses a propriety method to extend their base stations via a wireless connection. Only other AirPort base station will work.
