new iphone lost photos

I just got a new iphone. When i did a back up on the old phone not all of my photos backed up. Is there a way to still retrieve them from icloud ?

Is there an ICloud Photos Archive? I got a new iPhone but not all of my photos transferred, is there anyway I can retrieve those photos from the old phone? I’m positive that my phone was backed up before I switched but not all my photos were on my new phone when I made the switch.

Were you using iCloud photo library on the old phone? If so, and the photos are in the cloud, turn it on on the new phone.
