macos catalina install button doesnt respond when I press it

When I try to press the install button it does not respond, what can I do?

I have more than 35G free for the installation, so thats not the problem.

Update to Mac OS Catalina Hi All, I am having issues trying to update/install to mac os Catalina. When I go to software update it sends me to the app store to download and everything downloads fine. It goes through all the steps till the very last step where it says to install or go back. I click install and nothing ever happens. I have tried restarting and re downloading multiple times. I can't download multiple programs I need because my OS isn't new enough. Any help would be appreciated. I have 44 gb of memory remaining. Thanks

I'm trying to install macOS Catalina. I've downloaded it and clicked agreed to everything and i keep getting to the point where the Install button comes up but i click on it and it doesn't do anything? You have to select the HD first, then Install

Verify you meet all the tech specs, including free storage space:
